Just to say that reflux and spit ups are symptoms , not diagnosis - meaning the thicker milk will not go up as easily and you will avoid the spit ups, but what ever irritation she is having in her GI tract is still there and bothering her. Sorry to hear your little one is suffering. My LG is almost 16 weeks old, I had the most unsettled (almost non stop crying baby) that would spit up almost every 10 min. We went to many docs and tried many things, but in the end what I feel heeled us was time - now she might have 5 spit ups a day and barely ever cries.Cannot believe it sometines🙏 Sending much love, strength and patience and hope your LO feels better very soon!!🙏
because i do both idk how often she has it but she has maybe 2-4 bottles of formula a day ? and the rest breastmilk today i was able to give her mostly breastmilk and she was such a calmer baby less fussy i wish i was able to get more breastmilk, i’ve heard a lot about kendamil just that it’s expensive? i might just try that xx
yeahh, when she drinks the formula it might be more like she wants to be sick maybe but because it’s thick she isn’t and it bothers her thankyou for the advice! x❤️
Ah that doesn’t sound very nice. Poor girl. You could try her on the ready to feed Kendamil before going onto the powder? Kendamil have also just brought out bonya formula which is cheaper version of kendamil. I’ve also seen good things about Aldi formula which is about £7 a tin, it’s meant to be similar to aptamil xx
ohyeah okay i’ll have a look into it & yeah i never thought of buying aldi formula🤣i forget they do milk there too lol thankyou! x
It is trial and error with formulas. You could try a different brand of normal formula like HIPP organic or Kendamil if the thickness is bothering her too. How often does she have formula? My first was on cow and gate and always wanted to be held because he was uncomfortable from not being able to poo or pass gas but then I changed his formula to Kendamil and he was a completely different baby xx
