(FTMs only) what's your baby budget

Buy secondhand!!! I got everything I needed for my first secondhand for around £500. Including travel system, clothes, cots, moses baskets... EVERYTHING!! The only thing I recommend getting new is a care seat but that'll only get you back around £80 for halfords own brand care seat. We didn't have any money to spare when I was pregnant with her so saving as many pennies as we could where we could was essentially. We still have everything for baby no. 2

Buy lots of Vinted and secondhand,Facebook market place ! You will be surprised how fast you go through clothes ! Xx

I’m a second time mum but I got so much second hand with my LG. There’s also a lot of stuff you won’t need at the start (e.g. nursery furniture as they’ll be in your room with you) so that helps spread the cost. I’d also say try not to go overboard as there’s so much you’re tempted to buy that you’ll never use/don’t really need! Xx

I wanted to get some secondhand items to help with the cost of it all. Pram travel systems can be expensive for one😳. My family are saying “oh no, you’ve got to have new for your first baby” and I’m thinking yeah that’s all well and good but what about the rest of the stuff I’ve got to buy 😫😂

@Ellena I get your point but I'd still like to get the nursery done by the time the baby comes. I think it's just me nesting
