Bottles

From a mother who has tried weaning their child off mam teats for water for months and has constant guilt (please don’t judge me) I’ve finally found a alternative I think but would you say these are okay for a 16 month old?? He’s started taking to these, dentists does say not to worry too much but the health visitors obviously make you feel guilty and make you feel like you’re a bad mum for using teats past 12 months. Please be kind x

I had so many issues with it. It took a lot of games but she finally gave them up

They are okay for now it’s just annoying in the car seat or pram if they wanted a drink they always have to tilt their head up, y’know? My one never did well w the straw that had a valve he did well w a silicone straw no valve so if you haven’t tried that, keep persisting.

I had my 13 month old on something similar to these until recently bc he shredded them with his little shark teeth. 🫠 they lasted a month. Bite proof my ass. 🤣🤣

My HV said water was fine out of those but not milk so I guess it depends what he's drinking...she was also very strict on the type of cup I should use as they should be encouraged to drink from either an open top or a free flow teat so they don't have to suck as it's bad for their teeth but I just think you need to do what's best for you at the time
