Warm baths can help too in addition to everything Kimberly said
Thank you ima try everything
What Kimberly said. Also it's not uncommon for newborns to go days without popping, but since she cried all night it sounds like she is constipated. If you can't get er to poop today and she's still crying/in pain, I recommend seeing a doctor, they can prescribe a laxative and check there's nothing else going on.
Breast fed babies can poo anywhere from once every week to 7 times a day
Im formula feeding not breast feeding and yes she cried she only went to sleep in my arms if I lay her down she wakes up screaming
Fennel water
Someone posted something on here that helped me.. Babies have to LEARN to poop. You have to give them time for them and their bodies to figure it out. That gripe water helps my son get the gas out the way and then I hold him facing outwards from my body with my hands under his thighs in a sitting position with his legs lightly upwards to help him push. Then walk with him or stand in place and raise and lower myself from tiptoe to floor over and over. It helps him to help himself.
It’s totally normal for babies to go a day or so without pooping. Formula fed babies can go up to 3 days without, talk to a health care provider if you’re worried 😊
I gave her some reguline enfamil to see if that helps and that did not so I’m gonna keep trying things or maybe like y’all said it’s normal I’ll call her dr on Monday
Well baby girl is just a mini adult. I think “what would make an adult go?” (Besides medicine). Physical activity, water, spend some time relaxing (whatever that looks like for your girl), etc
Sorry but baby’s that young can’t drink plain water
OMG i read this as 18 months!!! Not days lol
My bad lol
It’s normal for babies not to poop everyday, it can vary with what they’re fed. My dads a pediatrician ☺️
Try doing some bicycle kicks ands gently pushing her knees to chest. Also trying rubbing her belly when laying down get a baby oil or lotion and massaging her belly then try holding her upright this makes it easier for them to push then when laying on there back. I hold this helps
