Mirena birth control
Has anyone felt with the after math of this birthcontrol? I had mine removed yesterday. I had it in for almost 11 YEARS . Nobody would touch it to take it out . They never really gave me a valid reason as to why. I finally found a good doctor and he didn’t hesitate to say yes . But now I’m worried about fertility. He has me coming back in to run some tests . I go in tomorrow for an ultrasound on my ovaries, and my blood work comes back on Monday . Not totally sure what the blood was for aside from pcos maybe?
Did anyone else leave that in and have a hard time getting pregnant later on? I have a blended family . My son is 11 and my step daughter is 7 . I want an ours baby ..

Bloodwork was probably for hormone levels and related things I never heard of anyone having one in that long personally

Sorry I couldn’t even read the rest yet… why was it in for 11 years? I had it in for 3 years and requested for it to be taken out because I was having awful cramps even between my periods. All I was told was it was ovulation and I wasn’t going to believe that. After taking it out, I was trying to get pregnant. I did take birth control cleanse I can post below I’m also a blended family. I have been pregnant 3 times since taking it out in 2020
