Bit of an odd post however my kid has said he wants a party next year but I have no idea what to add in party bags. Usually they are full of tat that just gets thrown away so I don't want to waste money on them. I'd rather have stuff that would get used. So my question is what kind of things would you add in them?

It’s been two years of my daughter having a birthday party with only me ,her mother. And as time goes on it’s tearing me apart. Her father plays favoritism with his first child. We have no family here and the friends we thought were friends aren’t. But I’m sure I’ll find strength to make it the best day possible.
