Hey all, I'm bringing my baby with us to an event at a restaurant and it's around her dinner time (she's 6.5 months) should I bring a little cup of puree or something? Or just put her in a highchair while we eat?
Anybody else have a 17 month old who has never been great with food.. but omg, meal times are so unsuccessful everytime! He survives on bananas, eggs, toast, yoghurt and berries! It’s such a battle. So jealous of people who have kids that have just taken to food!
What are you feeding your los for tea? I struggle to cook for myself so most nights I'm not having a lot myself but need something quick for lo. She will only eat if she can feed herself she hates me feeding her on a spoon
My darling 1.5 year old will not eat dinner. Hes so fussy when it comes to dinner. He’ll eat the pre made packets like the heinz meals for 15 months + but ideally i want him on ‘real’ food. I even took the packet of the sainsburys chicken paella and tried to recreate it at home and serve it in the plastic pot.. nope...
My baby is 8 months and wasn’t too interested in food for a long time, I think because her teeth were still coming through. Now she has 4 and she’s ready to eat and try new things. But for some reason the whole food thing stresses me out. Making sure she’s trying enough things, what to try, being consistent. I dont ...
How is everyone's Lo's when it comes to eating? My son is still not that keen. No matter what the food is , he will have 2 bites if that, then just want his bottle. My previous bubbas couldn't wait to eat but not little man x
So I gave me and my daughter an ice-cream. She ate all hers and then wanted mine too. So I said no you had your own and then she started having a complete meltdown and screaming. I obviously gave her some but I told her she had her own etc so she can understand. What would you do in that situation?
Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me how their routine with breastfeeding and solids? We had a visit from a health visitor today as my little boy who’s 10 months a week today doesn’t swallow much food, he’s really interested in food chews it and goes back for more each time just hardly swallows. She told me I’m breast ...
MIL took 2 year old out for a picnic for a couple hours, 2 year old had standard picnic food but also 3 biscuits, an ice cream, a lollipop and a packet of haribo I’ve never given any haribo or lollipops ever before and now my kid is very ridiculously hyper, do I say something? Am I allowed to be annoyed
Hello I'm planning to give my baby his first meal tomorrow which will be puréed sweet potato. I believe the recommendation is 1 meal a day. I'm starting quite late as he is nearly 7 months but he's ready for food now. Mama's is there a specific time in the day you'd feed baby this 1 meal a day? Like example afternoo...
Anyone else’s LO that’s started weaning just hate it? We’ve only tried broccoli, avocado and potato so far but she absolutely hates it, will happily put spoon in mouth with nothing on but as soon as foods on she won’t 😑
Since being on solids only, my girl has climbed from 45th to 70th centile. So I feel we are clearly overfeeding her. But she usually finishes everything so we just assumed ahe was still hungry and gave her more 😞 could someone please share what appropriate portion sizes are? For example she has porridge every…
My 19 month old is such a fussy eater! Will only eat a sandwich at dinner - which she’s now refusing and at tea time will only have certain meals aswell. We’ve tried new meals but she throws it and goes to bed hungry. Does anyone have any advice or even going through the same thing? Feel like I’m going insane!
When they’re in one of those ‘I won’t eat anyhing’ moods so you just offer a bit of everything and hope for the best 😂 Spinach, kale & cream cheese pasta Homemade white bread fingers Grapes Veggie straws Pear slices Wish me luck 🙏
Do you think it’s abuse if you’re forcing a vegan or veggie diet on your babies? I’ve had this debate a couple times. My baby is only 8 months but she eats everything. Steak, chicken all her veggies and fruit. Vegan diets shouldn’t be forced upon babies.
I'm incredibly interested in meal prepping a lot of Chinese foods for postpartum, as I've read warming foods are super good for circulation, milk production and body replenishment. I'm a fairly competent cook with a few Chinese supermarkets nearby, and was just wondering if anyone had any resources or recipes they'd...
Hello, can you please share photos of your toddlers plates? We follow a vege diet. My little man is in a very picky stage.
She literally refuses to be fed now without some form of entertainment - be it someone talking to her (not the person feeding her), something in her hand to look and toy with, or Ms Rachel 😭. It’ll be 3-4 of the 5 feeds in the day where she does this. Idk if it’s because she’s a little poorly but she was doing this…
I feel like I'm giving the same meal on rotation.
Our baby is spoon fed with puréed foods at the moment. She hasn’t got any teeth and she was born a bit early and she’s always run roughly a month behind with everything so it’s what I was most comfortable with. She’s shown a little interest in holding the spoon, however now it’s more like she just wants play with it...
