Baby eating

My little one’s nursery asked if she gets finger food at home as she’s refusing food in nursery that is more of a liquid consistency. She doesn’t use a spoon at home as she uses her hands. Should an 11 month old be confident when using a spoon? Are finger foods wrong for this age? Feeling like a bad mam!!!

My one year old has decided he prefers to eat with spoons or forks rather than his hands and the silicone spoons we have are driving me mad picking up the scent and taste of detergent. Shop bought pancakes

I normally make my own, but we’re in the middle of renovating our house ready to move so don’t have the time (why we thought buying a “doer upper” would be great at the same time as me returning to work is beyond me😂) and bought some in our tesco shop. They’ve substituted with high protein ones, are they still ok…

feel like i’m not getting anywhere with weaning?

hello, my little one got given the go ahead to wean on a dairy free diet (he has CMPA) by the paediatrician last week, so since then i’ve been giving my little one purées (DF porridge puree pouch) to get him used to eating (will eventually start BLW). however he just spits it out and doesn’t seem to actually be swal...

Good hidden veg recipes?

My daughter loves peas and carrots but isn’t that keen on the texture of other veg. Has anyone found good recipes that have hidden veg, especially things that are good to put in lunchboxes for childcare or keep in the fridge to add to meals?

Should I intervene if my sister in law is forcing her children to eat? (Can lead to eating disorders)

My sister in law is forcing her kids to eat. From bribing them (if you eat your dinner you will have your dessert) to calling them good or shaming for not being good if they don’t eat to full on punishment for not eating (removing stuff they like for example - No scooter for a week if you don’t eat). I have a degree...
