Just transitioned my 16 month old this week to daycare from a nanny. Going as well as one can expect but he has this thing where he hits his head hard repeatedly on the ground when upset or angry. I'm slightly questioning if my toddler is autistic here. It's not a problem if he is but I think perhaps I need to adjust my/ hubbys approach. My toddler will have 'tantrums' which starts from not getting what he wants. However sometimes with very little stimulus he has a full blown meltdown often after a long day....

So my one year old started making this movement holding her ears when you talk normally to her saying her name/talking or with the tv on a normal volume. I have took to urgent care and pediatrician to rule out ear infections. Any other suggestions as to why she’s doing this?

Does anyone else’s LO not respond to their name much? And have only around 10 words?? I’m starting to get very concerned. No other signs of autism and has been referred for hearing test however if I put peppa pig on a mile away she will hear it 🥲🥲
