Toddler protesting naps

Yes my 22 month old. Went through a phase where she refused a few months ago and only my husband could get her to nap. Then I could. Then just the other day back to no nap. Yesterday she napped. Now today no nap. 😭

is it mean to just leave them in the crib? Like i just want him to know its naptime with no negotiations!

If it was me and she was crying I would take her out of the cot.

My 22 month old rarely naps. I would never force him or let him cry about it. We just move on and enjoy our day
