Low lying placenta & exercise

Hello! At my 20 week scan I was informed I have a low lying placenta, it’s also anterior. Just wondering if any other ladies in the same position regularly exercise? I have been working out 4-5 times a week, usually with light weights, swimming or low impact peleton. I have a desk job and work from home so feel it’s necessary. I know we’re more prone to bleeding, so not sure if I should be reigning it in? And how much? Any advice anyone has had around this would be more than welcome! 💗

I don't have any experience, but also low lying and anterior so interested in finding out too!

I also have low lying/anterior placenta and have been keeping up with my regular running- 5k, 3 times a week. No issues so far to offer you some reassurance 🥰X

Thanks so much @Sam x

I’ve been for my 20 week scan I have the same but it’s covering my cervix I’m wandering if it will move away ? Xx I also have too go back in a weeks time has they couldn’t gain all fasp views of the heart due to baby’s position xx

@Beverley I’m not too sure if it’s covering. My sonographer said if it was covering then a c section would be recommended. I guess they’ve scheduled you for another scan? I have one for 32 weeks to check the position of the placenta x

Im the same with low lying placenta and another scan booked for 32 weeks to see if its moved. My sonographer didnt say anything about not doing certain things at all. I haven’t been keeping up with excercise at all but did an aquafit class today and everything seems fine

They have told to too avoid sex xx

I have just been told today too that I have a low lying placenta and that it is covering the exit. I too workout on a weekly basis. But they said baby was absolutely fine and told me I can’t fly.

Why can’t you fly hun xx

@Beverley they didn’t say to much and tbh I should have asked, but I put it down to the low lying/anterior placenta. I will ask my midwife xxx

I’m hoping the placenta will move its self up x
