Congratulations! 🥰 I had my twins by planned c section at the JR in May 2021. The team were amazing and I can’t fault any of the staff or process. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was being quite sick afterwards. This doesn’t happen to everyone, but my blood pressure kept dropping during the procedure so they had to give me quite a lot of drugs! Nothing some anti sickness meds couldn’t sort out, but it was the last thing I’d expected to happen! 🙈
I had mine there on Wednesday this week, it was a great experience, the doctors, midwives and anaesthetic team were so knowledgeable and supportive with all of my worries. They listened to all of my wishes and did them where they could! If you have any specific questions feel free to message me and I’ll try and answer! Xx
I had mine last Thursday and they were fantastic!! All the team were lovely and so reassuring to me, the anaesthetic made my teeth chatter a little bit but nothing terrible at all! I think I was in surgery for about 45 minutes or so it was really very quick, would definitely do it again if I have another baby 😊
