Since my daughter stopped watching TV ( cocomelon miss Rachel etc) she is more attentive to play and she is saying mama...( mother in my language)I think it depends on each child's development
Every baby is different but as my 14 month old is saying quite a few things, I personally believe that miss Rachel on YouTube in small doses and set times has helped.. sitting with her and singing along and interacting rather than just letting her watch it mindlessly. Also constantly talking to myself/her has probably helped too... I narrate almost everything I do, and it wasn't until recently that someone said that actually helps with speech development.. no matter how stupid you might feel or seem to others 🤣 just tell her what you're doing, ask what she's doing, have conversations as if she will absolutely talk back like an adult haha. But don't worry too much.. I'm sure your baby will get there in their own time ♥️ if you're concerned, speak to you HV or GP but I'm sure they'll get there xx
BBC tiny happy people is great for communication
