Low Papp-A

I've just been told to start on 150mg of asprin a day due to low Papp-A . I was wondering if other mums felt the same as me.. run down, generally no energy, short of breath when pottering around the house, constant headaches. I'm not sure if i'm overthinking that it's linked, i dont know much about this Papp-A as the doctor phoned me and told me the baby needs the asprin for the blood flow and then prescribed and ended the call. I do know i'll have to speak to my midwife soon just to get clarity on a few things. Any advice or similar stores will be greatly appreciated tia xx

The run down and no energy could be low iron levels (I felt same and my levels were low and was put on iron tablets) xx

I’m the exact same! I got my letter Friday, and I rang my midwife she said it’s more common than you think, they just monitor you more with more scans etc and won’t let you go over your due date! I felt better after speaking to her, just don’t read too much on Google xx

I was told at 12 weeks and prescribed aspirin too plus extra growth scans at 28,32,36 weeks. I’m 29 weeks now and baby is growing perfectly so far. Feeling all the same as you and have low iron, so was prescribed iron tablets at 20 weeks.
