How the heck do you keep your feet warm after an embryo transfer??

My feet are always cold and I can’t do anything to warm them up! Is a heating pad acceptable?

I wouldn't worry about it.

I got foot warmers and put them in my slippers

I just made sure I had socks on and didn’t have them directly on my skin

Try wool socks

I doubled up on socks and when in bed put hot water bottle on my feet.

I’m wearing two socks and one has fleece lining but still cold 😂

i used an electric heat pad. i didn’t pay much attention to the always keep feet warm stuff, but as a general thing i hate having cold feet. i can never fully warm up/be comfortable if my hands and feet are ice blocks 🥴.

I spoke to my doctor about this today when I was having my 4th FET because my feet are also always cold and they told me not to worry about it, I also asked about drinking cold drinks and my doctor laughed at me (thankfully the speculum was already in at that point 🙈🤣) they basically said to follow the NHS guidelines as I’m in the UK so no alcohol, no heavy lifting and a balanced diet etc and take my medication and not to listen to all of the old wives tales because it will either work or it won’t. I get why we try all these things because it’s nice to feel like we’re doing things to help 😊 but this is my 4th transfer and I really just want to try to remain positive this time. Good luck! 🙏

Aww @Lauren congrats for your transfer! Definitely important to stay positive! Thanks for letting me know about all that! Wishing you a sticky embaby!
