Best way of preparing neocate lcp?

On the booklet it says to wait 30 minutes for the water to cool so it will be warm on the wrist but I see so many people online saying they make up the bottles for the day with cooled boiled water in advance. I’ve just read so many things and now I’m questioning the best way to make it as after 30 minutes the water still seems really hot. I use a nuby rapid cool flask but need advice! Thank you.

Hi hun, I’m on a milk that is similar. I boil the kettle and put all the water into the bottles, put the lid on to allow it to cool and just add the formula when I need to bottle and give my wee one it room temperature. The wee tommee tippee formula pots are handy for this as u can pre measure & just pop them in when needed. Boiled water can stay for 24 hours

I used to make up all the bottles in the morning but 1oz under the amount I’d need (ie 6oz if he was on 7oz) then when needed, add 1oz of freshly boiled from the kettle or hot from a flask and then the scoops so it was warm but not hot, ready to drink straight away x

I thought the boiled water was to get the bacteria or something out the formula

@Taymar There’s an ingredient in these milks and when it’s added to boiling hot water it kills it’s off making it less affective

I use the rapid cool but without putting the formula in the flask, just use it to cool the water down & put it in bottle and then put the formula in x
