Baby Weight Measurement vs Actual Birth Weight

I had a growth scan 2 days before giving birth at 39+5. Bub was estimated to be 3.3kgs but he came out a tiny 2.8kgs!

I had my last growth scan at 38 weeks and bub was estimated at 3.5kg - I was induced and gave birth 40+1 and he was born 3.5kg - I'm 155cm and had a vaginal delivery 😊

2 weeks before he was born he measured at 2.1kg and birth weight was 2.2. About 50% of the time they’re wrong about the weight but you can discuss a c-section if you’re worried.

Ultrasound detected my baby size a week older then he is but midwife said he is normal and nothing out of ordinary. I had complicated delivery as he turns out to be 4.3 kg and I am only 5.2 feet tall.

Definitely discuss about your option for c-section, I was told with my next baby I’ll have to do c-section since I have high chance of another big baby. This time it was too late for c-section.

I was told I was having a big baby they estimated her weight to be 4.3 kg but she was only 3.6kg I also had gestational diabetes so I thought Bub was gonna be massive she was still big but she was a good size

I was told bb would be 4.5kg, he was 3.5kg. However his head was measuring 97 th percentile and this measurement was correct at birth. It’s soo inconsistent!

My little boy was scanned at 39 weeks 3.6kg and he was born spot on at 3.6kg. I’m 160cm and had a vaginal delivery 😊

My growth scan was 2 days before he was estimated at 2.6 kg and was actually 3.4kg

I was told 77th percentile but he came out 66th percentile! At 3.7kg!

Last growth scan was 3 days before the c section. It was estimated he was was 2.2kg. Birth weight was 2.39kg.

I had a scan at 37w and told was told baby was in 95 percentile and estimated to be 3.9kg at 40w. I had an induction at 39w as I was nervous about size. Baby ended up being 4.1kg. So glad I went for the induction. Was able to give birth naturally. Your body is stronger then you think

Estimated 3.95kg at 36 week scan, he was born 4.06kg at 37+6 so pretty spot on. I had a planned c section due to size of Bub and also having high blood pressure

Was told eight and a half pounds at least, he was seven pound three or 3323 grams

I just had 38week scan and bub is estimated currently a 8lbs 3oz...no sign of labour yet 😮‍💨😪 really worried he gonna come out over 9lbs. My 1st was 8lb 12oz, 2nd was 7lbs 0.5oz
