Breastfeeding

Does anyone feel embarrassed/nervous about how much exposure your breasts are going to have due to breastfeeding? Coming from a conservative background I just feel so uncomfortable about it all. I want to breastfeed and give the baby all the nutrients needed but I just can’t see how it’ll be this amazing bonding experience…

I'm quite Conservative and have always been shy and reserved even around women! however when i started my Breastfeeding journey in the hospital, i didn't even think of this. I had midwives, health assistants, nurses watching and helping me get my baby to latch when my baby was in NICU. You don't tend to think or worry about being uncomfortable, naturally you just want to be able to feed your baby and that takes priority...its amazing how your feelings can change so drastically. That was my experience anyway Don't worry too much about it

I felt like that too before giving birth, but once you give birth that feeling goes away there’s so many people that go in and out of the room that you don’t even realise and your only concern at that time will be your baby
