Tbh if it’s going to be borderline I’d rather them just say c section so everything is safe!
@Samantha yeah I was gutted, but it was the right thing to do.
I have this problem had some bleeding so was in hospital for 3 days but ok now but still getting old blood 😪same being scanned at 32 and 36 just want to know what I’m gonna have to go through it’s very anxiety inducing! X
I had low lying at 21 week scan only 7mm from cervix and then at 29 week scan showed it had moved to just the required amount to no longer be an issue so i think it’s very possible it will still move given it’s moved so far
My placenta was low from 16 weeks and was still low at my 28 week growth scan but had another scan last week (31 weeks) as was admitted to hospital for 4 nights and luckily my placenta has moved away otherwise I would be having a c section at 37 weeks. Hopefully this will be the same for you! Apparently it’s really rare for your placenta to remain low if it’s first time pregnancy or you haven’t had surgery before. Hopefully yours will move up that little bit more as you body continues to grow xx
@Jasmine yeah I was told it’s really rare too but my sister had it with her first and had it all the way through…maybe it’s our genetics?? 😂😂

@Emily yes, I did. It does seem later than most people usually get. I was grateful to be honest! I was low risk all the way through my pregnancy until the placenta didn’t move. I didn’t have any bleeding during my pregnancy. I was supposed to be the first in on the day out of the 3 of us, but my covid test came back inconclusive and they had to run it again. I ended up going last x
@Zara yes later the better as baby will be more grown💗I’ve had two episodes of bleeding and have an appt next Friday as the think they spotted a blood vessel close to my cervix I just can’t wait to know the plan now. How is your placenta with this pregnancy is it the same? X
@Emily oh no! That must be so scary! I don’t blame you for wanting to know the plan. My placenta is high this time! I want to have a VBAC 🤞🏻 x

Also have a low placenta. It was at the cervical edge at 20w. Had another scan at 32w and it “appeared low” still but just an abdominal scan and no measurements given. Waiting for the 36w scan to determine delivery plan. Happy to chat if you ever went to talk.
I had this in my first pregnancy and it didn’t move enough either. It was a similar measurement to yours… practically nothing! I had to have a c section. Hoping for a VBAC this time!
