Infacol or gripe water?

I’ve been using infacol pretty much since birth as my baby suffers with a lot of painful trapped wind. It works really well but I find it makes her latch really bad as it makes her mouth slippery and she slides off my nipple - when I don’t use it her latch is much better but she then gets the trapped wind. I’ve heard mixed things about gripe water with people saying it doesn’t work as well. What are your experiences and has anyone else found the same issue with infacol but found a way to resolve it?

Gripe water. For us worked amazing and helped with constipation also.

We were mainly using infacol. Wind still seemed bad, so we introduced gripe water as well. He seemed a lot better with that so thought, maybe we should stop the infacol and just do gripe water. That didn't work out for us. So we then kept him on both for a while. As he got older we kept him on infacol and just give gripe water when it seemed a little worse. Now at 4 months he gets infacol once or twice a day and rarely gripe water. I think each baby is different, so a bit of trial and error. But give something new a bit of time to work

We used gripe water & it worked for us better than infacol.
