I agree but I also think if she saw indication of a third leg, she would have known the difference. They are training for a very long time before put into the field. At least that’s what my tech told me when I asked her. I’ve had friends and family find out the sex at 14 through ultrasound and it was correct for both girls and boys. I’m pretty sure the tech won’t tell you unless they are sure.
I mean, we looked for like an hour. When we first started, she said she was pretty sure she knew but wasn’t gonna say until she knew for sure and could get us a good picture. I have friends who found out through ultrasound at 14 weeks that were right but they all had boys so I feel like that’s easier to see.
I had my nipt test and it is a girl!!!! I paid to get a gender ultrasound at 18wks still a girl 🩷 i had my anatomy scan today 20 weeks YUP WE ARE HAVING A PRINCESS its super normal for you to feel this way
If you feel confident with the ultrasound tech then try not to worry.
Your feelings are valid but you are so overworrying about this.
My NIPT test said girl but I was so worried that at my anatomy scan they would said it was a boy so I definitely feel your anxiety
I did the NIPT and it said we’re having a girl and my 20 week scan is Thursday. We have bought all baby girl things and I’m terrified they are gonna tell me it’s a boy instead. We will love baby regardless because it’s our first but we have her name picked out and can’t agree on a boy’s name to save our lives.
The ultrasound tech shouldn’t have assured you of the sex. The NIPT test is far more accurate for wanting to know the sex before your anatomy scan. Knowing the sex is not guaranteed in an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks. Fingers crossed she was right.
