Iron

Hi! I have 5 sessions with 30 min each. Today is my 3rd one. How many did you have? Did you feel better after them?

@Kaja I had 4 visits for small pouches of iron and it brought my numbers up pretty good but not where they were hoping so they are talking about sending me back for more. 🫤

@Kaja what were your numbers looking like?

Oh No 😔 I hope it kicks in soon for you. I have a c section scheduled for next Thursday so I hope these start working quickly. I had Ferritin 4 Hemoglobin 9.7 Red blood count 3.4 How about you?

@Kaja they are sending me for blood work today to check my Ferritin and everything. What did they tell you about where your levels are?

They will do one I’m sure after I go thru all 5 so we’re waiting for now. Do you know what dosage you got?

@Kaja I’m not totally sure but I know when I had an infusion my other pregnancy I used the iron Injectefar and it worked great then this pregnancy they decided to try a more generic brand callled Venofer and it brought it up 1-2 numbers. 😐

I'm actually at my second appointment. Need one more. All 2hr appointments. It's easy.

@Paige I don’t mind getting IV iron it’s just I always wonder how much is too much. Because I feel like they’ve been sending me back to back.
