Sterilising breast pumps

We have a momcozy breast pump which needs boiling for 10 mins to be sterile... Can we use Milton sterilising tablets for this? If so, what do you sterilise your items in? A random tub/bucket?

You can put it in Milton but it’ll likely go cloudy so depends whether or not you care for that. I put my haakaa in my Milton ateast twice a day for the past 4 weeks, it has gone slightly cloudy but nothing crazy. I’ve put the momcozy parts in twice or so & they’re fine still. I use the Milton cold water sterilising bucket but I see no reason to use a normal tub, not sure if it needs a lid on it.

@Tanya thankyou, I'm not concerned if it's cloudy as long as its clean/sterile! I just wasn't sure if I could actually use the tablets with the momcozy as it just says about boiling for 10mins so didn't want to damage the pumps! Might look into getting the bucket too then I know it's clean/sterile!

I use milton for everything now. So much easier x

I have a mom cozy but I wash the parts out first after each use and then put in our steriliser

I second @Jess, I pop everything in cold water so much easier
