Little one has Poonami explosions in car seat only!

My nearly 7 month old baby girl only has recently started having little explosions when going for number 2 in her car seat and her clothes are completely ruined. We moved on from pampers size 3 to Aldi size 4 and they now fit her perfectly. I think size 5 would be way too big for. Any tips please?
