My daughter has something similar. She sees a chiropractor for few things and this is one of the things she’s being treated for. When they’re this young it’s easier to fix it as their bones and muscles are still very flexible so we decided to treat it now than later down the line as it requires less invasive medical intervention. Also, I think the dimple in the butt crack is called sacral dimple and it appears in some babies and it’s nothing serious. My husband has it and he had no problem throughout his life and he clearly gave it to my daughter lol x
I was also freaking out about my daughter’s sacral dimple… the paediatrician in hospital was like ohh as long as you can see the end of it it’s totally normal. Ask your GP if you’re worried but between now and then I think you can relax x
Thanks ladies I’ve been anxious about it all day! So I’ll get on the triage list tomorrow and get that looked at xx
How did everything go in the end? @Leanne Same situation here with my 10 week old and worrying!
My little boy has something that sounds exactly like that. The paediatrician in the hospital said it was a “sacral dimple” and is harmless, some are more deeper than others tho and may need scans, if your worried or just want it looking at definitively speak to your health visitor or GP 🥰 x
