Is it on the nhs website of things to avoid? If not, don’t worry.
😂😂😂 some people need to mind their own. Maybe that’s applicable in the US where food isn’t as tightly regulated. Get your KFC!
Girl I ate KFC everyday for the last trimester, it was one of my cravings and my baby was born fine 🤣🤣🤣
Been craving (and indulging!) KFC since the beginning of pregnancy and haven’t had any issue 🙈 I’d say go for it!!
Read this post and now want KFC and I’m not even pregnant! 🤣 (had KFC while pregnant though and it was nice. Lol)
I think the only concern would be the higher levels of sodium but if your doc hasn’t said anything it would be fine to have once or twice fore sure. One meal doesn’t derail the health of yourself or the baby. Enjoy!
Omg I had kfc once a week sometimes more as I had hg and sometimes it’s the only thing I could stomach (crazy I know) had to be fries with gravy and a zinger burger no lettuce extra mayo 😆
I really don’t see what in KFC would be a real problem 🤔
It’s not recommended for pregnant woman I’ve been craving it throughout pregnancy but never went near it always went for McDonald’s because I thought it would be a safer option anyways but I hear so many people are eating it during pregnancy I don’t know 🤣 I want to risk it but I don’t
@Charlotte I’m really curious, how is McDonald’s safer than KFC, except the fact that KFC is all chicken, I’m not aware of a real difference, let’s face it it’s both junk food lol (not judging I love them both lol), I really don’t see how one can be better or worse than the other
@Nina on the KFC website it says it’s not recommended for pregnant women due to a chemical in the chicken batter ? Or something like that with McDonalds you also don’t really run the risk with food poisoning as sometimes kfc chicken can be under cooked it depends on your kfc really lol
@Charlotte fair enough, had never heard of that, thanks
@Nina it might be in different countries that they have it if it’s safe in the UK then go for it lol
I’ve had it a couple times ;)

I’ve had it twice so far and I’ll most likely end up having it again without a doubt 😂 as long as it’s cooked properly it’s fine. I only go by things on the NHS website to be fair. Even my midwife said a lot of things on google aren’t true unless on there x
I lived off kfc when I was pregnant my baby is fine lol
@Charlotte this is my dilemma I’ve had mc Donald’s loads But this is why I asked on here I don’t always trust google x
Get KFC if you’re craving it! Lol it’s probably not recommended because it’s high in sodium and processed. It’s not going to do any harm to baby so eat what you’re craving!
@Charlotte do you have a link please to the UK KFC website where it says this? Because I think you are mistaken. There’s no way it’s not safe for pregnant women, the UK guidelines for fast food are one of the safest in the world. Other KFCs worldwide yes I can understand why as what they’re allowed to put in their food is scandalous in some countries, but the UK? Nah sorry not happening. You would have major civil litigation cases against them.
I had loads of KFC in my first pregnancy and have had it again in this pregnancy. Do what you’re comfortable with but personally I don’t see the issue 😉
Jesus Christ 🤣🤣
I ate KFC as well as a shit tonne of other takeaways (kebabs etc) during my pregnancy and my little girl is here absolutely fine and thriving! Eat that KFC 🫶🏻
Just had KFC last night. Google will tell you anything is bad for you.
I've had KFC when I really fancied it...wouldn't eat all the time but in moderation, why not?
Unless NHS website says no, then go for it. Obviously check chicken is cooked properly x
Ha 😆 well that's unfortunate cuz I definitely had KFC while pregnant. Baby seems fine LMFAO 🤣
I just had KFC 😂
I LIVED on KFC with my first born and he’s just fine 🙌🏻 get that KFC gurl 💪🏻
I had KFC a few times and was absolutely fine and so is my baby 😅 as long as food is cooked properly then that’s okay. Of course I wouldn’t recommend it every day lol but occasionally you are fine ! Go satisfy that craving
