@Steph thank you! What time does your baby finally get to sleep and do they wake at all in the night?

Nope no particular routine my baby girl is 10 weeks

No routine and my little man almost went through the night. Last bottle was 8:30pm and I woke him up at 5am for a feed because I was worried it was too long. He’s fed and back asleep on me whilst I wait for his milk to go down x

No routine for us yet I just try not to keep her up for too long between naps and she does a 5 hour stretch at night.

I've given up on a schedule. Imagine this, it's 5:30AM and we are doing tummy time.

@Beckie He is usually asleep between 8-9pm, occasionally later if he has a rough night or is particularly fussy. He usually has an initial longer stretch of sleep between 4 and 6 hours so wakes between 1 and 3ish. On a good day he’ll go back down until 6 or 7am but sometimes we do get another wake up at around 5am (like today!) and getting him to go back down at that sort of a time can be challenging as he often decides he’s ready for the day to start 😂

my 8 weeks old tends to sleep ard 9pm, following a night feed ard 2-3am, 6-7am and then wake at 9am. not yet a pattern seen during daytime other than a 2-3hr nap time between 3-6pm. sometimes she stays awake too long probably coz of her curiosity to what my 2yo is doing.

Same as above really! Bed at 9/9.30 and then will normally wake up 1.30 and 5.30. Then she’ll normally snooze on me till 7ish and then that’s us up for the day Tbh she used to wake up for the night time ones and drink a full 4/5oz but recently has only been having 1-2 Not sure if it’s the heat or maybe she’s ready to drop a feed (and mummy could get more sleep 😩) Naps in the day 9-11.30 1-3ish 5-7ish Then bed at 9 Repeat

Routines are hard to get before 3 months. My LO usually falls asleep around 10-11pm now, on average he'll have one big nap in the day sometime. He's a terrible sleeper at the mo, I didn't get him down properly until 1am last night and then he only slept 3h + 40 min. Trying to get him back to sleep again now. 😭

No routine but we turn lights down, have a bath 2-3 times a week, massage etc at about 7-8pm. Baba doesn't stay settled unless she is on me 😅

My baby is 10 weeks old mondsy. Hates sleeping during the day, way to noisy for her own good, we try and nap between 7-10 feed, and try and little after lunch time but she doesn’t like to do will have 10 min power naps here and there. We start bedtime on shower/bath dsy at 6:15pm, usually bottle and bed by 7pm, we put her down awake and see if she drops off with white noise. Sometimes has the dummy but will then play the dummy game. Try rocking etc, usually gets off by 8:30. Awake by 10 for feed and then every 3ish hours for feed. Usually get and start the day again between 7-8

No routine, and I don’t think I’ll be trying for one for a little while. The only bit of routine that I try to keep is bedtime at 8pm. I don’t have a elaborate bedtime routine either, I just take her to the bedroom, white noise, change her nappy & swaddle her, breastfeed & then if she is still awake after feeding then I will rock her to sleep for however long it takes. The time she takes to fall asleep can vary from 30 mins to 90 mins depending on her mood

My 8 week old is usually up at 2am and 5am. Last night was only up once but for a 2 hour stretch between 3:45 and 5:45 and is still asleep now at 8:30. She has about 3 short naps throughout the day sometimes more or less, so defo no routine yet x

Thank you very very much ladies. I really appreciate it. I see so many posts of these perfect babies and I’m thinking oh my goodness what am I doing wrong but so many people are in the same boat as me so thank you.!!!

We don’t have a schedule at all at 11 weeks. Nhs says about introducing routines etc at 3-4 months. We do everything on her cues. She tends to have one long nap in the morning after her breakfast, sometimes she’ll sleep until lunch time. Then her baps for the rest of the day are really really short and pointless (and I never get anything done😂) but she goes to bed between 9:30-10:30 and has been sleeping through the whole night for about a week now xxx

No routine and to be completely honest I learnt with my first thst the won’t develop a proper routine till about 8/9 months. It changes so much because their sleep needs are constantly changing. I spent far too much time worrying about my daughter napping or waking/bed at certain time, this time I’m just going with the flow. He’s sleeping 11-6 at the moment, napping when he wants and having about 6/7 bottles a day but that’s about as much routine as we have at the moment 😂 xxx

I totally understand that at 10 weeks, we are still in limbo, I've tried to be consistent, but that's always been an issue before, baby girl lol. However, she has her own plans 🙈😅

I really don't see the need for any type of routine yet, not until she is older. Right now we feed on her cues and she naps when she wants to nap. She drinks alot during the day, every 2/3 hours, and then Sirius through the night. She is 7 weeks. I can't be doing with getting stressed about routines or anything, she is happy and growing all and that's all that matters

I have no real routine but I try to watch her naps/ awake times. My one usually awakes for feed around 5:30 then up at 8 ish, hour awake and then two hour nap, hour awake hour asleep Only thing I do is I log all her stuff into huckleberry. They let me know 'predictes nap time around 11am... So I try to put her down slightly when she starts showing signs of tiredness.

Everyday different but generally… 10/11pm sleep 4am bottle and back to sleep 9am up for the day ( cocomelon, tummy time ect) 11-3 on/ off naps 3-7 awake maybe nap but cat nap Bath 8/9pm Bottle, rocking, burping ect Sleep 10/11pm

No routine either at 7 weeks. Wake up 8:30-10. Try to juggle getting breakfast and keeping her happy. She cries really easily if I'm not holding her. Try to get her down for a nap after I've had my breakfast and she's been changed and breast fed. Randomly throughout the day we will do bouncy chair, sensory cards, tummy time on my chest. She is absolutely not really fussed about doing any of these things and just wants to be held really 😂 Then after we've done some sort of activity (even of its just having a "chat" or a wander round the room) I will change her nappy and feed her or rock her to sleep. Sometimes I can extract myself from her without her waking but more often than not it's a contact nap situation. Sometimes she sleeps for an hour or two, sometimes only 10 mins. Try and have her put down for last nap by 7 and then she goes down for the night 9:30-10:30 usually. Mostly it's chaos and I just try to watch her cues to see what she wants at any given moment while also keeping myself sane 😂😂

@Clare glad to hear it's not just mine being this clingy 😄

No routine but in the next few weeks we will be attempting it. At the moment we are taking it as it comes (2 to 4am is the witching hour.... When the crying starts) xx
