Maternity clothes or up a size?

Hi ladies. I'm 15 weeks and cannot fit into any of my normal clothes. Do you have any recommendations for wether I should up a clothing size or start in maternity wear? If so any good places to shop?

I only bought leggings in maternity and sized everything else up, 30 weeks and that’s still working for me😂

I only bought leggings and jeans in maternity x

I bought maternity leggings and biker shorts from H&M. Other than than, I wore loose clothing like my boyfriends shirts and shorts and sweats. 😂

Same as above, with my first I just got leggings and jeans in maternity and sized up in anything else that I needed 😊 maternity wear can be so expensive x

Maternity clothes. I found sizing up to just be baggy. I have loads left over from before - found river island the best for jeans, got a few tops from new look, boohoo and shein

I just invested in the basics like leggings and jeans. I knew I would be really big in summer so I also got some stretchy bodycon dresses and maternity summer shorts for the heat and they have been great. I mainly live in drawstring shorts and a nursing bra now 😴

I just sized up! I’m 15 weeks too and it’s working for me! I also think that dresses are so much more comfortable!

Mostly sized up / chose styles that suited my body with a bump! All of my usual places - H&M, ASOS etc. I bought some maternity jeans and a few stretchy tank dresses from Shein too.

Shein x

Maternity clothes, sizing up just looks baggy

Dresses are so fun! Maxi and wrap dresses have been my staple. Can grow and they still fit! Do your own research but I read SheIn has been found to have lead in their products 😔 natural fibers are the best always

@Jennifer what are SHEIN sizes like? X

I got some leggings and shorts in maternity from ASDA. Then sized up and also bought some large men’s T-shirts lol

A good choice for maternity clothes that doesn't end up breaking the bank is to buy second hand on vinted. You might even find people selling brand new clothes still with tags, or just been tried on etc, so its win win, nice clothes for a decent price and considering most maternity clothes only get worn during pregnancy, its good for the planet too :) x

I have a few maternity tops just because they make the bump look better (i recommend ruched & longline), over the bump leggings are a must too, with some maternity underwear. You just get so much more support and I find it more comfortable, my old leggings and trousers now just fall down or give me a 🐪🦶🏽 hahah. Not all maternity dresses I would say are worth the money, they just have a bit more stretch on the belly but honestly just size up In dresses, skirts too if you’d prefer to wear things not over the bump. Get on plt, cheap and good quality, especially when you’ll be back in your normal clothes in a few months :)
