Absolutely, after thorough consultation with her doctor. My sister had a breast reduction and she says it’s the best thing she ever did. For her it wasn’t even back pain, though that would have been inevitable if she had not had surgery— it was her body image, self-esteem and just being extremely tired of constantly being uncomfortable, having to wear tight binding bras, having a very hard time finding clothes that fit, etc. It was life-changing, she finally has breasts that are proportional to her body (she’s only 5’1” and pre-surgery her boobs looked like they could topple her over!) So yeah, I would let my daughter if I felt she was properly informed and knew the risks— esp if it was pain related. I would never want my child to be in pain
Yes, that’s not cosmetic surgery (which I feel should wait for adulthood) - it’s surgery to treat pain. I think that it’s an issue that is often not taken seriously (like most issues in women’s health) too.
Yes
If we could afford it yes, my sister has like fs and I know it kills her back
