I went for 2nd hand as its my 2nd child and need a double

2nd hand, and went for the mama and papa’s Flip XT2.. I went into stores to find the one I wanted first and then searched for that pram on the 2nd hand sites 😊

I'm thinking of getting second hand as it takes away the pressure of being sure it's the right one (not easy for me to get anywhere to try them out) as can just swap out for another later on. I will just replace the mattress in the carrycot and steam clean the rest of the fabric

We bought our main pram brand new but bought a lighter stroller secondhand for my son when we became a toddler. We got it for £20 from eBay. Our main pram is an uppababy vista which we’ll use as a double when baby’s here and our stroller is a baby jogger.

The pram is the one thing (other than a next to me) I have decided to get new. I need something sturdy for all-terrain but within budget under £700. I’ve been looking at both the Ickle Bubba Stomp Luxe travel system which is around £650 with car seat and isofix and a couple extras and also considering the Mama’s and Papa’s Ocarro travel system which I’ve seen on sale online and has good reviews. I’ll deffo be buying online as they’re WAY cheaper than in stores! - worth noting I have seen the Ickle bubba pram in a store in person and also a lot of NEXT stores have mama and papas shop sections now so you can see prams and test them! This is what I plan to do before ordering online xx

We will be buying new as I want a sturdy all terrain pram as I have a puppy German shepherd cross who needs long walks. I have been looking at the mamas and papas Ocarro travel system as they have good bundle deals online, plus has fab reviews

We are getting new and looking at the Egg 2 travel system. Had a look at the cybex, nuna and silver cross but for us this had the aesthetic, suspension etc for us xx

We went second hand, got an ickle bubba stomp luxe, practically brand new for £225 instead of £600! I’d rather spend more on a good stroller that they’ll be in for longer when they are slightly older!

Our first baby so we went for a brand new bugaboo fox 5.

I’ve gone for new purely because it’s my first baby. It’s the Venicci tinum up line. But I’ve been given lots of things second hand too

We are planning to get one 2nd hand as the savings are just so vast and we aren't even sure we will have more than 1 kid at this stage so can't justify a new one

We are going to use again our secondhand Oyster 2 which came with a cot and seat. £50 still plenty of life still in it. Recently bought a buggy board for it for our now toddler.

We’ve got a new icandy peach 7 set, got a good deal online for a light grey colour and it was £1100 ish!

I will go for second hand as I'm poor... just simple as that. Many items need to be purchased and both me and my boyfriend are on benefits due to mental health like autism and bipolar so not fun. I don't mind that really as it doesn't matter really. My son had everything new 14 years ago as my family was helping me ( I was 19 then) and its just not necessarily important:) love and closeness and nutrition is valuable that's what I think. If I would be loaded yes no harm in that if you have enough to put aside for baby's future and your current life and education and still have some left why not to spoil yourself and baby but it's not a must x

Second hand all the way!

Second hand.. you use it for such a short amount of time that it seems crazy to me to spend so much money for brand new

This is my 1st child and we got ours second hand from a family member who was selling it. Its the Venicci Grey Tinum and was the exact pram I wanted aniway so made sense, especially when we were saving £££'s and was in immaculate condition. We are currently saving for our wedding as well so anything to make both possible right now is a must 😂 The thought of pram shopping just seems overwhelming to me so dont feel like ive missed out 😂 x

We have bought a second hand pram and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever! Saved ourselves a lot of money

I got a mamas and papas ocarro travel system second hand and saved over £1000 and it was literally mint condition. It’s great on bumpy terrain and is beautiful but it is a bit heavy. I did get a stroller brand new but that was because it was newly out. Both I love and would get 2nd hand again

I got first hand but on a big discount like half price as it was last years colours xx

We went for new as it’s our first baby- got the Silver Cross Reef

How much are you spending on second hand prams ?

Usually they are half price. We currently have 3 secondhand £50 on oyster 2 with carry cot, and seat and rain cover. Absolute bargain. £150 maxi Cosi Gia £150 baby jogger summit x3 with rain cover Depends on what you find, the condition and how much you want it.
