Infant gaviscon

My LG is on gaviscon and I’ve found her poos are now more of like a paste, she is fed expressed breast milk though and the dr said that because she is given breast milk the likelihood of her becoming constipated wasn’t as high if she was one formula. She has up to 6 sachets a day. I would definitely stick to giving it as prescribed, I’m not sure about colief though

@Kelsey great thank you! She’s been prescribed half a sachet with her feeds, so I’ll go with that!

@Sarah she’s definitely less sicky and seems more comfortable. I wouldn’t say she’s 100% but definitely better than she was cos she was screaming for hours in discomfort before

We also have been prescribed half a sachet with feeds how do you give it to them?

I’ve been putting it in her bottles is that right?

@Stephanie Kemp yeah I just add my little girls to her bottles, she is on a full sachet though but dr has said she can only have 6 a day so I do try to give her one in every other bottle

@Kelsey do you add to pre made bottles? Or make them all fresh as you need?

I have it for my little girl, I put half a sachet into each of her bottles and it has definitely helped! Still experiencing some of the symptoms but she’s definitely a lot more comfortable than before and this has stopped her poo’s from going hard and she’s going like clockwork ☺️
