Membrane sweep
Hoping someone can make me feel a little bit better about my situation?
Had my first sweep at 38+3 was told I was 1cm dilated, had nothing but cramping and lost my mucus plug. Had my second one today 39+1 and I’m now 2cm dilated.
Did anyone go into labour after their second sweep? If not did you have another one or get induced?

Hi, I was exactly the same as you.. 2 sweeps, lost mucus plug and some cramping.. 3rd sweep was on Mon at 40+5...had some cramping yesterday but all stopped last night, still waiting and losing the plot a little! X
I’m 40+4 I went to have my 2nd sweep today but told her to stop as it was just too uncomfortable but she managed to tell me I was 2cm dilated I’m booked in for induction Sunday just waiting till then unless little one decides to come himself x
My waters broke 2 hours after my sweep at 38+5. I was 2cm dilated and had baby 10 hours later
