What were your symptoms when having a boy or if you’ve found out you’re having a boy?

I'm having a boy , I have sickness all day , food aversions showing early x

I could tell and that one of the old wives tales are right - I am carrying very low. So always thought it was a boy and it indeed is.

@Angela interesting! I’ve had mixed replies from people who have had boys, a lot have said they’ve had no sickness and glowing skin throughout. Others similar to yourself.

Yeah before I found out I was sure I was having a girl but nope definitely a boy I had gender checked 3 times 🤣

I’m due a boy 5th November and had a girl 3.5 years ago. This time round I’ve been sick every day. My appetite is totally different. I crave spicy/savoury things, my heart burn is contact & i am carrying very low & my bump is very large and round. With my daughter I was very small and high up.. oh & I can’t sleep🙃 with my daughter I never knew I was pregnant until she moved😂

@Jasmine so you had barely any symptoms with a girl? I’m the same with the sleep thing! Almost every night around 3-4am I’m wide awake 😴

With my son had HG throughout, horrendous aversions, had 5 safe foods I could eat throughout. I knew from the beginning he was a boy from instinct (we didn’t find out until birth) so I wasn’t surprised when he was born a boy. This baby is a girl as we chose to find out this time, also have HG but not quite as severe. Otherwise everything else is the same.

I’m having a boy and I’m 25wks, I had constant intense sickness and it’s been intermittent since I was 15 weeks. I have an intermittent appetite too. Back pain, hip pain and a very low bump. Dizzy spells and breathlessness

Pregnant with third boys symptoms pretty different tbh especially this one to the point I swore I was going to have a girl but I've been confirmed it's a boy. Had a lot of sickness this time around a lot of tiredness/aching. Appetite was more with first 2 boys , this time I've not had such a big appetite.

@Jade nope I had nothing with my daughter at all, it was sooooo smooth. But this time round it’s been hell!!!!! X

I had sickness all through first trimester then suddenly stopped in second, had sweet cravings and felt rubbish - thought I was having a girl! only thing I noticed was that my tummy was so hard so low so I think that was my hunch that I was having a boy over a girl. Also scan pics all the boys I’ve seen have the rounded forehead that dips a lil 😂 but I was v shocked still honestly I think everyone os so different xx

I was adamant I was having a boy, all the wives tales said boy had no sickness savoury foods whatever the internet said for a boy was me down to a T but nope checked all scans and private and defo girl! 🩷

When I was having a boy I looked better 😆 had morning sickness …but felt more myself . Currently having a girl and I look like crap …that’s my two cent x

Having a boy - we found out gender very early with NIPT test. I had nausea for the entire first semester and my skin is terrible with so many nasty spots 😭

I’m having a boy! Major food aversions, nausea 24/7 up to 18 weeks and little appetite. Craved carbs, sour sweets, pickles/vinegar and more carbs. I’m all bump and it’s quite low.

Also having a boy, was convinced it was a girl until we found out. My symptoms have always been pretty minor, massive appetite in the first trimester, pretty heavy exhaustion throughout, probably only been sick 4 or 5 times in the early second trimester, not a lot else! Really enjoying pregnancy 😊 Not sure if there's really any way of telling the gender x

I'm having a boy, my skin has been awful, had bad nausea and craved sweet and salty food 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m having a boy 💙 25 weeks now, had no sickness thankfully, skin was awful for the first couple months, eating everything in sight, super tired the whole way through

When I was pregnant with my son I was sooo sick, my skin looked great though. But I was fatigued, extreme nausea and occasional throwing up. I felt awful until the middle of the second tri.

Also had not much of an appetite with him until after second tri,

Lots of Nausea (no sickness), tiredness, no cravings, bump showed at 4 n half months and breakouts

I had the best pregnancies with my 2 girls hardly any symptoms, never sick, lovely 9 months. I’m having a boy this time and was rough for the 1st 12 weeks, nausea, vomiting, generally felt unwell. I’m 25 weeks now am low in iron, constantly tired, have carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrist who even knew that was a thing!! My hip ache all the time, this is defo my last pregnancy lol no cravings just don’t want to eat anything. As soon as the sickness started I knew it was a boy my mum n sister only got sick with boys. The sonography lady said it’s strange as they usually hear of the girls being the worse pregnancies but I guess our family carry girls better lol
