Yes this is very common!! Happened to me too! Unfortunately a lot of the 4th trimester was spent sitting on the couch while baby slept on me! A sling definitely helps so you can use the loo and eat or go for a walk! Netflix is your best friend and have food, water and books at hand!
completely normal, contact naps in a sling, baby needs you now theyre adjusting to outside you xx
Does baby sleep through the night? I noticed those with babies sleeping through have issues with them not sleeping during the day. I would take a full night any day 😆
@Christabelle no not at all lol. Wish he slept through the night, just mean I can put him down at night with out the screaming v day. He sleeps 3hr at a time throughout the night :)
@Sam same here 3h at a time lol. Maybe during the day you put him down when overtired? Usually harder to settle. I stick to the wake windows of 2hrs and it seems easier. I think for 7 weeks it would be closer to 45 mins to 60mins
Sucks doesn't it every 3 hours but I know it will get better soon hopefully 🙏. So if we are out and about he sleeps fine in the day but at home just won't have any of it lol. I think I need to use the sling more at home. X
Baby sling or carrier for closeness but allows you to do stuff? My baby is pretty dimilar at 5 weeks. He feeds every 2 hours on the dot through the day and night so I rarely get stuff done in-between anyway haha
