Do Mam do variflow teats?

It has been suggested by my health visitor to use variflow teats. I use the Mam bottles but when searching online, I can’t seem to find a variflow teat by Mam. Has anyone found this type of teat for the Mam bottle?

yea i just found them haha, theyre called cross cut x

Thank you. I did look at the cross cut ones but was put off as it said 6months+ and my boy is only 7 weeks. I will try them, see how we get on xx

@Sarah what was the reason to use the variflow tests? I also use MAM bottles and was so confused at what the X teat was!x

@Stephanie 🩶 We had size 1 teat but it wasn’t enough, he was getting frustrated and then would fall asleep after not having much milk but the size 2 teat is overwhelming him and he’s almost gagging on the milk. The variflow teats go with the baby’s sucking speed. I was put off with the Mam cross cut teats as they say for 6months + and doesn’t mention variflow in the description but I’m going to order some and see how we get on xx

The cross cut aren’t vari flow, they are free flow basically extra fast, if they can’t handle the size 2 the cross cut definitely won’t work, your best bet is to persevere with the size 2 and he might get used to it after a few days!xx

@Hannah Thank you, I was confused on this. Xx

@Sarah Just wondering how you got on with the variflow cross cut? My boy is 7 weeks and struggling with wind at night and wondering if related to teat size. Size 0 is too slow and sometimes he is gulping and fussing over the size 1 in the night but manages it well in the day. I'm put off the x cut as says 6 month like you were? Thank you

@Siobhan I tried it but it’s was too much and even at 6 months still not using them
