If they’ve said it’s ok then they must thing your body will be ok. By week 8 I got told to start cutting down on them, so I went to 2 a day and then 1 and day, then every other day. Until I was 12weeks. But I have heard of some people just finishing them and that’s it done. Fingers crossed mama 🤞🏻 good luck

I took them until 13 weeks for piece of mind but I had to pay more money for extra meds
I weaned myself off the progesterone in oil shots my doctor respected it as it helped with my anxiety from a previous loss. I did this until about 10 weeks.
My clinic said 12 wks since miscarriage rates are still high in first trimester & by then ur placenta takes over but every clinic has it’s different set of rules to follow
Thanks everyone, I think I’ll wean myself off them from 9/10 weeks and order myself some more just in case. 8 weeks seems quite early based on what most forums say
I also did IVF and was on progesterone suppositories. I had the same question but was reassured it’s fine to stop cold Turkey. I stopped cold Turkey at 14 weeks with no issues
I stopped mine at 8 weeks as per my clinic and everythinh was fine 😊
I was on progesterone injections, pessaries and tablets. I stopped the injections at 12 weeks and weaned down pessaries and tablets between weeks 12-14, as per clinic guidelines
I stopped at 12 weeks. From week 10 was only 2 a day then week 11 was one a day. Xx

Yep I had the same thing in my last pregnancy and it’s fine by now your body will be producing the right amount or hormone x
