Making a travel cot more comfy?

We went away the other week and had to use a travel cot rented as couldn’t work out how to get our crib down. We go away Monday and was going to rent one but the food out mattress is so un comfortable is there anything I can do to make it more comfy but safe?

I use a Joie one, and pad it with fleece blankets and a breathable blanket on top so it’s pretty comfy, my LO seems to like it x

We have bought the exact same one from ASDA as above and it’s fab x

I put a fleece blanket on the mattress and put the sheet over the blanket , yeah not "safe sleep" but she was fine had no loose bits and she slept great, was a one off
