My son started doing it a few weeks ago so we switched to the sleep sack and had the same problem. So we started very loosely swaddling him so he could get his arms out if he needed to and checking on him frequently , it’s worked so far and he’s started to get used to having his arms free so we really only use the swaddle if he’s having a hard time falling asleep but it’s getting less frequent. hope this helps 😊
@Darianah that’s smart, I will try that during her nap time. Thank you!
It takes a couple of days but they get used to have the arms out and they don't wake themselves up anymore. My son got used in a couple of days. She'll learn:)
We used a transition swaddle to get used to the arms up. Plus she was kind of forced to having one due to daycare not allowing swaddling.
We got rid of the swaddle early but, we rock our daughter to sleep most nights and then lay her down slowly with a hand on her chest. We then slowly remove it once we are sure she is asleep. She sleeps through the night, occasionally has one quick wake for a diaper change and snack. We use either a sleep sack or just a warm gown for her.
I’ve been doing the transition swaddle from love to dream and it’s been going well. One arm is completely out now. Naps can be a little tricky still, but with my baby rolling early I thought it the best for age still.
My baby girl turned 3 months yesterday she is rolling from her back to belly to
