@Annie i’ve been taking unisom but not the b6. i tried it a few times and everytime i feel like it just made my nausea worse. the unisom usually works but some days it’s not enough
I’m currently 16+4 & so far in my first pregnancy I’ve had little to no nausea & I have a theory for that.. bone broth.! I’ve implemented bone broth in my diet for the past year & I noticed whenever I wasn’t drinking it during the first trimester I would start to feel so sick. It always helped settle my stomach down & helped w the low energy I really struggled w. I know bone broth can have a really pungent smell, so you can always try regular chicken broth to see if that works best :) Dr. Kellyanns bone broth is by far my favorite, hope you start feeling better!
I’m 19 weeks today and I have been throwing up all morning and here and there throughout the days. I get fluid infusions twice a week to try and help my body get the nutrients it needs. I wanted to be one of those girls who loved being pregnant but honestly, I can’t see myself doing it again if I stay sick like this either. I feel like a failure. Like I’m doing something wrong and that’s why I’m so sick
@Anneka i’m so glad i’m not the only one who feels this way. i’ve repeatedly told my boyfriend this is the first and last kid that we are having because it has absolutely sucked. it has taken everything out of me, i can hardly bring myself to get out of bed and the only thing keeping me going is the fact that i get to have my baby in the end. i wish people talked more about how horrible some women’s pregnancy experiences could be, because i was not expecting this at all. i hate complaining to other women who have also been pregnant becuase i feel like they just think i’m milking it, but i’m honestly just looking for support and to be told that what i’m going through is perfectly normal. everyone i know loved being pregnant though so i don’t have anyone to relate to.
I'm 19 +3. My morning sickness has reduced from puking 5 times a day to 2 times a day 🙂 This is after taking Zofran once a day.
My doc mentioned that unfortunately some women have to deal with nausea all throughout their pregnancy and I've kinda resigned to the fact that it might be me 🙂 I have more energy in second trimester, that much I can attest to.
17w today and I can't function without diclegis and even with it I need zofran as a fallback some days 🙃
I am 18 weeks and have debilitating morning sickness. I take diclegis and zofran. My doctor said they work better together. After a week I was able to get some relief.
I’m 18 weeks and still have HG. I have a couple good days out of the week luckily where I can eat. I’m on leave from work because most days I can’t get out of bed. I totally understand your pain, it’s miserable. You are NOT alone in feeling that way! It’s not all roses for a lot of women.
Have you tried taking any medicine? I've been taking B6 and unisom per my OB and that made a world of difference for me in my morning sickness. I was told it's important to take the B6 at night with the unisom. I also take the B6 in the morning
