Brazilian After C Section

How long did you wait after c section to get a Brazilian wax (or really wax directly over the scar?). I’ve heard from different health professionals to wait at least 6months before waxing directly over the scar due to scar tissue. I’m coming up to 5months pp & just been shaving for maintenance (still not going anywhere near the scar). I would really like to get a Brazilian done as the weather is warming & I just feel better when I have it done, BUT super nervous about going over the scar. I’m happy to wait till 6months, I just hope the pain isn’t too horrible haha Any tips of dealing with pain for it too would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m currently 4 weeks pp and am keen as to have my Brazilian maintenance done down there for sure! How does your scar feel recovery wise? Is it still itchy, raised or tender? I could only suggest trying a bikini wax down the legs first to see how you feel tenderness wise. Maybe the home strip kits would give you some confidence to know when you’ll be ready to brave the full Monty.

Best to check with your GP at your 6 week checkup.

I'm a waxer and we recommend waiting 6 weeks after giving birth. After a c section I've often waxed around the scar and just plucked a few hairs around the scar but it all depends on the client's healing process and tenderness

I had mine done from 7 weeks PP. my scar healed well and I had no issues with the incision post wax.
