If it wasn’t intentionally done there’s nothing to be scared of! The doctors can rule whether or not it was an accident. I have a history of CPS in my life constantly as a child too , but it will never stop me from making sure my child is okay! I’m not shaming you or bashing you , I just want you to know that it is okay and you’re baby’s health is more important than your fears!
There are so many things with the brain where kiddos can look ok but still have serious injuries. You should definitely still take her to get checked out to make absolutely sure
@Nickie would taking her to the er be just as safe?
@Kayla Bailey she has a doctors appointment on Monday, I’m just afraid that because I didn’t take her I sooner theyll think child abuse or neglect right off the bat
Mine fell down the bed as well, that was the night I found out he’s able to roll and move. I had a doctor appointment the same morning and she said he’s fine. Let a doctor look over her. You didn’t do this on purpose it happens to so many people, especially when they start to move from one day to the other.
@Selina my next doctors appointment is Monday, I’m not sure if I should wait or go tomorrow
If you weren’t worried that’d make you a bad mom! Your doing great, it was an accident you got this! Everything will be okay❤️
@Kayla Bailey thank you!
I would go to the er to be safe. The last thing u want is an accident to cause problems down the line.
my kid was falling out the bed (~2ft) almost twice a week for a while, it’d be like I look once, he’s okay, I look again, he’s f-ing falling out the bed!! I had anxiety, panicked, everything. He’d cry it out but I checked his body ofc to see if there was any pain or bruises. BUT i’m saying this to say, don’t fret TOO heavily, make sure they’re okay, happy, and functioning and it should be okay. Kids falling is like a rite of passage for movement. If you want to make a barrier of soft on the floor, do so 🤷🏽♀️
I would take her in to get checked out anyway. Also, babies shouldn’t be in bassinets once they can roll on their own so maybe switch to a crib or pack n play? Not trying to sound rude at all btw I didn’t know that they outgrew bedside bassinets at the rolling stage until recently.
Go to a different pediatrician to get her checked out. You need to make sure shes ok. Her health should be the most important thing.
