Are they around other babies I feel like that helped my daughter a lot I’m think about sending her back to daycare to see the other kids and make her want to explore other things
if you can, get them into a library story time class! they’re often free & is a great chance to see other kids their age doing different things. i feel like my son learns best from kids just a few months older than him. he has a cousin who’s 3 months older than him & i swear every time their together he picks up new tricks! also, love or hate it, but ms rachel has taught my 17 month old so much that i never even thought to focus on!

@keiara Sometimes, we try to do a playdate every week. But their friend is sick this week
@Joy ms Rachel is not only great for your kiddos (in moderation) but it also teaches you the best way to play and interact with them!!
@Joy We just did library story time for the first time the other week and they loved it! And they are obsessed with ms rachel but I’ve been trying to limit screen time to see if that helps with mood and trying to learn through me/other people
@Keely yes, i usually turn her on when i need to get something done but i always pay attention to the different gestures she’s doing or ways she’s talking to that i can also do them myself for him when we’re playing! she’s helped me so much as a FTM learn different ways to play with my son !
It could be more that they don’t feel like it. My brother COULD do things and just…wouldn’t.
@Joy I also purchased some of the toys she uses in her videos and do the same play with my little one! It has helped so much with speech and gestures!
@Alana I hope that’s the case! They used to wave around 10 months old. But after a few weeks they stopped and haven’t done it since😭
It sounds like they just don’t wanna lol. I’d still model it and maybe talk to their doc at the next visit, but don’t stress about it.

We do daycare she’s gaining so much by one there suppose to be saying six words my daughter been saying up to 12 words she’s same age 16 months she says mama , dada , bad bad , day day , gay gay , yeah , otay I’m busy , I’m good , hey so much more
You need to put words to everything they do like in detail , I am a learning center teacher & explaining everything your doing or there doing helps a lot
