2 yrs- Not responding
My kid is about to turn 2 in 2 weeks and whatever I say he is not responding. He says few words like water, car and book. But when he needs water he just cries. Whenever I call him he doesn't look at me if I say Starwberry or milk he would turn immediately. So worried

My son still does this but he doesnt even speak at all. No words whatsoever. Not event the simple ones. They think he may have Autism but there are other signs besides not speaking that go along with that diagnosis.
I’m sorry this is so hard and I would feel the same way! As hard as it is, try not to cross any bridges until you get there and talk to your doctor/paediatrician. They will make sure to check him out. If they try to blow you off, make sure to push and advocate for both you and your child. If you don’t feel he is meeting milestones, the best thing you can do is speak to a medical professional. No matter what, your baby has a great mom who is showing concern ♥️

I would consult a ent. Or get their ears checked out. See if maybe they have partial hearing loss or etc, maybe autism or something that way. Not saying autism is possible yk? But with any situation you're noticing something weird it cannot hurt to discuss it with your pediatrician!! And get other tests! A test isn't a diagnosis or a label!
