I’m 4 weeks down and still trying ..mine will only sleep on me on his tummy at night think it’s because he’s in pain
Lots of next to mes come with a reflux foot but if yours doesn’t then propping some books under the head end to raise it works just as well. I used infacol from when he was a few weeks old which helped with him winding. Make sure he’s burping well. Reflux is really hard. My little one is now 11 weeks and has just been started on omeprazole to help, he’s had silent reflux which I had been fighting the Gp about for weeks. He’s also cows milk protein intolerant so on special formula. He had a really bad reflux episode last weekend and we ended up in hospital and they finally started the omeprazole. It can often be trial and error but if you’re concerned keep at your GP! Mama always knows best xx
My next to me cot is SnuzPod. It comes with a reflux tilt but says to not use it for when the baby is asleep. The Lullaby Trust also don’t recommend using reflux tilts for sleep as baby should be flat. Have a look into it before tilting cot x
@Gemma that’s really interesting. With our most recent hospital admissions the nurse tiled the cot for him, she tilted it something wild I put it back to a very mild tilt 🤣 he looked almost bloody vertical with her tilt 🤣! Also interesting a cot comes with a reflux tilt and you shouldn’t use it while baby is asleep, sleeping is what I use my cot for 🤣🤣 you’re absolutely right though the lullaby trust doesn’t recommend it!!
Oh not to tip the cot???
Raise head end of next to me up so baby is elevated slightly. Will help massively!
