How do you clean poo off boy parts? 😭
Sorry for the dumb TMI question but my 12-week-old boy (circumcised) has been having really wet poops that spread in his entire diaper and sometimes get onto the head of his penis. I’m afraid he’s going to get a UTI or some other kind of infection. I gently clean as much as I can with wipes and put him in the bath but I’m not sure if that’s enough. He’s my first baby and I’m trying to do my best 😭 any advice appreciated!

Boys are less prone to UTIs than girls (I get a lot unfortunately), but it sounds like you're concerned for his cleanliness, and if that's the case then you're taking the time to make sure he's fresh and clean. We have a peri bottle next to the change table. When there's a big load in the diaper, I fold up a wash cloth, put it under his bottom, then spray his groin to get most of the mess off before wiping with either a damp wash cloth or baby wipes. My husband showed me how to clean the pens, and apparently it's not as delicate as we think it is. So if you need to scrub, ask your husband how much pressure you can put. Maybe ask him to clean the baby to see.
