Can babies wear socks to sleep?

This seems like a stupid question but we've got my lb (10 months) some pjs and they dont have built in feet. Is he ok wearing socks or not? It would be easier without as i know he'll somehow manage to get them off even with a sleeping bag

They can but don't have to. If it's really cold in the room and the sleeping bag has a low TOG, then you should probably put socks on. If it's warm enough, no need.

@Clémence thank you, his room is around 14° and has a 3.5tog so hoping it's okay

My son always wears socks even if he is in a onesie with feet, but that’s me. I think it really depends on the temperature, as long as they are comfortable it doesn’t matter. I guess I just think I get uncomfortable sleeping without socks 🤣

@Nikki I guess that's true, I'll have to see how he goes and see if they get cold. See im the opposite, I hate sleeping with socks😂

@Nikki I’m the exact opposite 🤣 my son never wears socks unless we’re going out bc I can’t stand wearing socks to sleep or even in the house. So I guess I felt bad if I put them on him when I hate them lol.

Hahaha see it’s all personal preference. My mom always claimed that babies get sick without socks but I think that’s just Mexican thinking lol. I don’t think there’s any truth to it. I think now after my son has always worn socks he feels weird without them. When we take them off he’s always saying socks and lifting his foot up for us 🤣🤣
