All things Baby appointment
Got our consult at John Lewis and Mamas and Papas tomorrow for baby buying 😄 mainly looking at pram/car seat/travel systems, and cribs.
Has anyone had one of these appointments? What was it like? Should we be doing any research beforehand?

Had our JL appointment on the 28th for nursery furniture, gave us lots to consider but didn’t have much on display for us to physically see unfortunately. Had our Mamas&Papas appointment about a month ago and the entire thing was the sales rep pushing the Ocarro on us. We hated the Ocarro, you need an aeronautical degree to work out how to collapse that thing and once you’ve done so it’s so heavy (13.5kg), I mentioned the weight to the sales rep who responded “you’re just not putting in enough effort because you’re pregnant!” (That’s didn’t go down well) in the end we looked at systems ourselves and made our decision without the M&P rep x
@Jessica oh, that sounds like poor form from M&P. Will bear that in mind!

We had one a few weeks ago at John Lewis, they’re so good! I just knew I wanted something light and they let us try most buggies until we found our favourite. The consultant we had was so patient and informative! Enjoy the experience x
