We had been trying for some time for our second one and I decided to try it cuz I know it couldn't hurt lol I'm not 100% sure if that was it or what it was but I ended up pregnant that same month
I have never heard of this but I’m intrigued. We recently miscarried and are going to be trying again in the near future. @Lucy what mucinex did you take and how much? For how long before you started trying?
@Cass it took us a while before we got pregnant but when we finally did it unfortunately ended in a miscarriage as well but we kept trying and it just wouldn't happen so I tried it and I believe it worked!! I got the regular mucinex but it doesn't matter wich one you take, and you just take one dose of it within 24 hours before you do the deed. I took it for a month straight every time we were gonna do it until about the last week in my cycle, then stopped cuz it wasn't the most tasteful thing lol
@Lucy I’m gonna try it too!! I’ve never heard of that but I’m also a little sick so hopefully it’ll help both me get pregnant and feel better 🤣🤣

@Jamie lol best of luck!! I feel raspberry leaf tea works too!! We tried for 11 months with my first one and I finally tried the tea and I really think that helped me! I would just drink one cup of tea a day but definitely stop drinking it a couple days after you believe you ovulated

I don’t know if it was just my time or if it worked, but I’m currently pregnant and I took Mucinex during my ovulation window

@Emily when did you first start the mucinex ? My wife wants to know how many days before ovulation you should start or if you should start before your peak or something ?

I've heard from an OBGYN that it can help, but it's not a guarantee. What it does is thins out the cm to make it easier for sperm to enter the cervix.
