Mamia nappies leaking

Hey! I’m using the Mamia nappies from Aldi but my little girl keeps getting wet up her back from wee! It’s 2:50am and I’ve had to get her completely changed including her sleep sack. I change her nappy all the time!! What am I doing wrong?

What size nappies is she in you might need to go up a size aldi's nappies are good but only up to size 3 at least that's what I found

Time to go up a size mama.. my son was the same he needed a bigger size nappy x

I found this with the mania nappies. I switched to sanisburys own brand and they’ve been great x

I loved aldi Nappies but my friend made us a hamper for our girl that had sainsburys Nappies in. I never have been so excited and impressed about something as sad as this.. they are lovely and soft, good stretchy tabs and the best thing... wait for it... the poo protect pocket.. haha 😄🤣 they are price matched with aldi too xxx

Go up a size. We’ve never leaked in cloth though

Even when you do go up a size get some cloth diaper covers and put it over the disposables and that’ll contain all poo blowouts as well

This has happened to my boy a few times and I hadn’t considered it was the nappy to be honest. I just presumed he had too many wees and the nappy was too full to contain it anymore, that’s how it felt anyway because the nappy was heavy. All I can suggest is changing it more often but if she’s asleep that whole time it’s difficult to say what else you can do. It wasn’t the sizing for us though, they fit just fine x

She’s in size 1 which goes up to 11lb… she’s only 6lb 12oz and is changed every 3 hours at the most. Sometimes sooner if she wakes earlier 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@Jessica yes but don’t go by weight, if your baby is leaking she obv needs more absorbency and that comes w the bigger nappy. Like everything else baby related, weight is only a guide and we have to adjust accordingly 🙃

@Kellie ahhhh ok… I didn’t know the absorbency would be more in a size 2. FTM fail 🤦🏼‍♀️😅😅 Thank you :)

Definitely size up- Aldi size 2 start at 6lb ☺️ my son always needed the bigger size for his weight! X

@Jessica but this the ftm stuff you learn as you go so dont feel bad about it but I like the cloth cover idea for blowouts

Size up or change nappies and see if that works ☺️ honestly I’ve used all the brands over time, some work great for ages then all of a sudden they are no use! No harm in trying something different and it’s common to size up at night since they may be going slightly longer stretches without a change ☺️

Thanks for the advice everyone! I’m going to size up and see if that helps :) xx
