I’ve been taking half a unisom every single night since like 9 weeks (24 now) lol my OBs are aware & have said it’s totally fine
Magnesium can give you diarrhea if you take too much but it does help with cramping and muscles while pregnant just a normal dose is fine is what my midwife said
@Cassidy thanks girlie!
@Sarah thanks babe!
@Victoria got it! Thank u babe
I have bad insomnia also and once I became pregnant stopped taking my prescription. I take both unisom and magnesium to sleep now, OB approved. I won’t say it is a miracle worker but it does help most nights!
@Victoria there are different types of magnesium. The one I take doesn’t cause diarrhea.
Just checked with my obgyn about this Tuesday and she said it’s fine. 👍🏼
Magnesium citrate is amazing for constipation, that’s why people are saying diarrhea lol, if you don’t have that problem I wouldn’t take it, I had it and helped sooo much. Magnesium glycinate is the one that helps you sleep better. I also tried before and liked as well.
Not at all! I take magnesium. My dr encouraged it. It also helps with constipation they said
I take unisom every night with B6 and a Pepcid. My nausea is HORRID still at 25 weeks and this combo helps with both the nausea and getting good rest
melatonin or herbal teas with chamomile
Unisom is fine if taken correctly under 25mg. And magnesium is okay if it’s under 400 mg. Take into account the magnesium that’s included in your prenatals.
